John and I went for a little jaunt in Maquoketa, Ia. After briefly panicking when Garmin lead us astray on to a VERY unkept road, we arrived relatively unscathed at a little piece of paradise. The caves were beautiful, cool and dare I say – rugged. Here is what I took from the day. I published a photo essay with captions in the Little Village this month. Check it out.
